In the past few years, the Tango has become an indispensable teaching tool for those learning EFT. It holds a central place in Externship and Core Skills trainings, and in Sue's most recent book, Attachment Theory in Practice. It is a vital component of our own teaching in our course Beyond Core Skills, as well as in our work with supervisees. And it is now a required element of videos that our supervisees submit for certification.​

However, many EFT Supervisors were trained before the Tango was discovered, and feel less than adept at practicing and teaching this invaluable tool. We have heard many experienced, skillful supervisors express their doubts about how well they are able to support those who have learned EFT with the Tango. 

​

In this course, we will teach the nuances of the Tango, and also provide tips and tools for helping supervisees learn and use the Tango process. The course will incorporate didactic teaching, role-plays, exercises, group brainstorms, and question and answer. The intention is safe, fun exploration!
